Bio
Born 1981.
Chris Plunkett began oil painting as an undergraduate at Plymouth State University, NH, and has continued his studio practice for over 20 years since. His work merges impressionistic realism with narrative, his subjects true to his life and journey.
Chris earned a Masters Degree in Art Education from Boston University in 2013, and has taught visual art in Boston Public Schools for over 15 years. He exhibits his work frequently in and around Boston. His studio is located in Dorchester, MA.
Plunkett is a core member of Fountain Street Gallery in Boston's SOWA district.
